One of my protect smoke detectors is chiming every thirty minutes. The only thing I could think of was to install fresh batteries. Any ideas?

We're sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.

Your Google Nest Protect will start chirping incessantly when the batteries run low. Also, I did find a helpful article with some troubleshooting steps for when the battery is low. Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.
