Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

I have 3 protects and 1 of mine started chirping for no reason. Nothing in the app to give me a reason just keeps going off every few minutes. Turned the power off and on. Still chirping. Pressed the button to get status, just says "Ready to Test". Did the test, still chirping and app says everything is great with the one that is obvioy in destress and has updated with test outcomes.

Have had it for less than a year. Anyone have the same issue managed to resolve it?

Hi folks,

@ArnoldSalt It's really a strange behavior for a Nest Protect and I wanted to know more about this so that we can come up with an option. To confirm, what is the color of the ring light of your Nest Protect while it's going off? Do you have the wired or battery type?

Looking forward to your response.

I appreciate the help, davidking.

Regards,
Emerson
