Connection to protect devices fail the second attempt

Attempting to connect 3 protect devices. First connection attempt to WiFi network is successful. Then the second time I attempt to connect it fails. I tried resetting the device and tired another device, in both cases the problem persists.

Adding to my initial query that the phone can connect to the first device to conduct a sound test but when attempting to connect a new device the phone tries to connect to the first one and fails time.and again.

Thanks for reaching out. Let's see what's going on — what type of Nest Protect do you have? Are you getting any messages while setting up the second device? Is this your first time setting it up? How far are they from your Wi-Fi router? Also, what's the status light of your device?
