Not getting notifications

For some reason I don't get notifications through to my phone, even though they are turned on. I have to log into the nest app to see what's happening.

Is it possible to change the noise the alarm makes, or the voice? My dogs hate it snd panic whenever they hear it

Hello @Amelia_doberman,

Have you verified that your phone is allowing notifications from the Nest app? This may need to be done in the Notifications settings of your device.

It is not possible to change the alarm of the voice on the Nest Protect. Are you experiencing the alarm going off often? Under the Nest Protect settings under Sound Check you can disable the monthly sound check so that does not run that test automatically.
