Hi, I spoke to a representative about 6 months ago regarding receiving push notifications from the nest App and never got a follow up reply.

when we have an event occur(smoke detected) we are all(4 other users same account android phones) are ONLY receiving alerts that say smoke is clearing....why aren't we seeing an alert for smoke is rising? to me that would be the value of alerts.

Please get back to me with a response. I am an electrical engineer and I am available for testing.

Good morning, Just to be clear, you are aware that the nest app doesn't receive a push notification when smoke is rising and only sends that after the fact(heads up notification) when smoke is clearing?

I believe this concept is more of an idea rather than an essential operating safety feature.
