false alarm for battery change

Hello, my Nest smoke alarm keeps giving a continuous alarm to change batteries. Even after I have replaced the batteries, the alarm persists, and the app keeps reminding me to change the batteries.

Is it new Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA (L91) batteries that you're using?

The positive "+" and negative "-" ends of the batteries match with the markings in the battery compartment?
