Nest Protect post CO alarm yellow flashing ring wont clear.

I had a CO alarm It's cleared, and shows green in the app but all of my nest protects still have the yellow blinking ring, how can I get that reset/cleared?

Today I removed all the Smoke/CO sensors from my Nest app and tried to reset the smoke/CO sensor to factory by holding the button until the ring goes blue and it starts to say the version number. As soon as it starts to say the version number it's say "silenced" and goes back to the blinking yellow ring. I've pulled the three AA batteries pressed the button well past the "Version number 3. silenced", plugged it into my computer via the USB port on the back, I don't know what to try next.

OK I have corrected the problem, here is what I did.
First the connected Google devices:

five Nest Protect Smoke/CO detectors
one Nest Thermostate
two Google Nest WiFi Pros, one is connected through mesh.
two Nest Connects to assist with the Yale locks/Alarm sensors throughout the house
Google Nest Guard (alarm), all door and window sensors
three Yale deadbolt locks
two Google outdoor cameras, first gen/wired
Nest Doorbell
Hub Max
two hub mini
dozen google speakers
two garage door sensors/open/close boxes

I was testing with the master bedroom and couldn't get it to clear the CO yellow ring. All five nest protects were flashing yellow rings, even after it had been cleared and silenced and was showing green in the app/webpage.

Step 1) I changed my WiFi psk password. I did this to disconnect all the device (Nest Protect too) from my WiFi.
Step 2) I rebooted my Nest Guard (alarm)
Step 3) set the WiFi psk back to the original password to reconnect all the devices.
Step 4) reboot both Nest Pro WiFi access points
Step 5) I noticed that the Nest Protect that has actually tripped the alarm was not flashing yellow anymore. I started with it and pressed until it said Version number ... and it completed the factory reset. I then proceeded to factory reset all the rest and then add them back into the app one by one.

The Nest Guard used to be temperamental, the Nest Connects really helped with connections.
I suspect the issue was how the Nest Protects are also used as sensors for the Nest Guard to determine if someone is home or not. It's also could have been the integration into the thermostat. Either way, breaking the WiFi and then putting the WiFi back to the original psk and the reboots enabled me to do the factory reset and reconnect my Nest Protects. I hope this helps someone else!
