How do I set the day for the monthly sound check?

N.B. None of the issue categories apply, so apologies if this enquiry ends up in the wrong place.

I just received a notification that my Nest Protect in the US is going to do a monthly sound check. That's expected, because it's about the middle of the day in the US, and that's the time I selected for performing this test.

Unfortunately, though, it's also still Saturday in the US (a day behind most of the world), which is the most likely day for us to have AirB&B guests at that house, and therefore the worst day for the test. So I went to the Nest app → Protect → ⚙ → Sound Check, to try to change the day. But while there's a 'Preferred time' option, I don't see a 'preferred day' option.

How do I set the day for the monthly sound check?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, where are you located now? 2nd gen Nest Protects can automatically test their speaker and horn monthly. If Sound Check notices that you're at home, the Nest Protects should wait until they’ve left to run the test. During Sound Check, the Nest Protect makes a short sound and listens with its microphone to confirm that its speaker and horn are working. The whole test is over in less than 5 seconds.

Thanks for the reply. When you say 'notices you're at home', do you mean, notices when someone's home? Does it use my phone's location to work out whether I'm home, or does it use its own sensors, and sensors in other Nest products, to do this? I'm got the home/away detection turned off in Google Home; will that affect it?

To answer your question, right now, I'm in Sydney, but when I posted the question, I was in Kuala Lumpur, and tomorrow I fly to Wellington—it's how I roll.
