Way to disappoint google. I was perfectly happy with my nest secure system and was disappointed to see it’s discontinued.

assumed that the new adt hardware will be great as it implied codevelopement but boy was I wrong. Regret choosing the ADT package over $200 gift card.

ADT+ never connected (didn’t recognize wifi and app was broken) and countless hours with tech support (I am amazed how much they try to solve things but clearly the product is a dud). What broke the camels back is when I called back today after I’ve spent ages on the line with them, they said my phone number or address didn’t exist, I mean what the heck I spent close to 4 hours on the phone with them.

shame on you google for tolerating this level of incompetence, I wish I had the option to go back to just picking $200 gift card option vs. this hot ADT+ mess. I purchased a SimpliSafe system, not my ideal goal of running a google household, but guess what the darn thing works. You are letting your guard down in the home security space and SimpliSafe will eat your lunch and I hope they do.

give me the offer to chose $200 again vs this adt crap, it’s going straight in the garbage. I bet I’m not the only one in reading the Reddit threads on this.
