Nest connect not resetting to a solid yellow light

I just moved into a new house with a Yale lock + Nest connect. I cannot reset the lock without resetting the Nest connect. Every time I try to reset it, it will not go to the solid yellow. It goes from blue to blinking yellow to solid green. Not sure what else to do...
