Nest guard cannot connect

Error nf004 after only a year and a half of working, tried all steps here https://support.google.com/googlenest/thread/74314564/nest-guard-won-t-connect-to-wifi?hl=en

also followed all steps by nest support chat with no luck. at the end google said look for a new security system. Are there any other options or is all the money I sunk into detects before google announced discontinuation of this product just wasted?

has anyone else experienced this? Were they able to resolve and if so how?

Yes - exact same issue. Worked fine for a couple of years - now the Nest Guard wont connect to wifi. Did they kill the product? I'd love to continuing using it.

I have the same issue as well, no longer able to connect to wifi as of 2 weeks ago. Worked fine for a year.

Chatted with nest support. They told me it’s out of warranty and no longer supported so just need to find a new security system 😞 at this point I am just going to do that and only purchase things like this from companies that have longer support. Lesson learned.
