Nest Wired Camera

I have a Nest Wired Camera. I noticed when I turn off the camera through the Nest App the camera is still uploading data to the cloud. Why? Do I need to unplug the camera as well? Since the camera is turned off I'm thinking it should not be uploading anything. Can this be explained?

Just out of curiosity, how do you know it’s uploading when it is turned off?

I have it hooked to an EERO router that provides upload and download data by device. I saw it increase by a lot after I turned it off.

After a day the uploads did stop. So the problem solved itself. Yay!
