Nest Guard Alert

How do I get my Nest Guard to alert using my other google speaker (google Wi-Fi, or google mini speaker) when it detects motion or door/window opens. The sound only comes out of the nest guard at the moment and is not loud.

Sadly, you can't. Nest/Google never did add this basic functionality, even though there had been many requests/debates/etc about it. I've had this expensive crap since 2018 and it remained unresolved until Google divested itself of Nest security. Now we can't even use cellular backup or pay for monitoring anymore. In short, its becoming as useful as one of those cheap TV door alarms. It remains a beautifully made unit with the best multi-function motion detectors and sensors out there. If I could use my detects with another unit I'd bail on it just as quickly as Google bailed on us users of it.

I can imagine it has been an inconvenience, and I would love to look into this further for you. I am afraid however, you are unable to use a smart speaker or display for that purpose.
