Nest Yale lock - Nest Connect

My nest conned is installed and when I move on to add another device and choose the lock the screen goes to add nest connect. Then I get nest connect already installed. My connect is 5-6 years old do I need to replace it?

Thanks for reaching out. Let’s see what’s going on — a few questions: what’s the status light of your Nest Connect? Do you have multiple home structures? Also, what’s the make and model of your device?

Here’s how to check if you have more than one home structure:

At the top left corner of your Nest app home screen, tap Menu .
Tap the home you want to switch to.
You’ll be taken back to the app home screen where you can find the Nest products you have in the home you’ve selected.
