Yale nest lock thumb lock

We have a window in our door with the Yale nest lock and the thumb lock is visible from outside.

is there a way to disable it and only use the app?

Short answer is no, unfortunately. If you think about it from a safety perspective, it wouldn't make much sense for you not to be able to unlock your door from the inside (think emergency scenarios) if your lock is offline or the Wi-Fi/app are experiencing issues.
