Nest×yale lock wont connect

Worked fine for 7 months...3 months ago the number 2 stopped illuminating....now, after a battery change it won't connect to my nest connect. Tried the factory reset twice. Please help before I trash this for a schlage

I’m sorry to hear that. Let’s see what’s going on — a few questions: what’s the status light of your Nest Connect? How far is your Nest x Yale Lock from the Connect and router? Is your Connect paired to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi frequency? Also, are the batteries of your lock fresh and standard AA alkaline batteries?
