Yale lock back button not lighting up

I changed my wifi and reconnected to my NestConnect, upon trying to get the lock online, when instructed to press the button on the back of the lock, it does not light up. How do I get the button to turn on so I can reconnect my lock?

confirmed too that the batteries were not the issue.
