Confirmed, the Google Wired 2nd Gen Doorbell does not pull into ADT+. What the heck are you doing Google? Basically identical to the 2nd Gen battery, but let's not make that compatible either. Your understanding of the words compatible ecosystem are completely inept.

I'll guess I'll be waiting for the refund for my 22 Nest Detects, 7 Nest Protects, and now a new Google Wired 2nd generation doorbell, which by the way both a Google rep and ADT+ rep confirmed "should" work. Less not forget my two 4K IQ Outdoor cameras. Yeah great idea, let's EOL the best technology cameras you make for crappier ones.

This is such a disappointment after being told it would work by ADT+. Thank you for confirming I was going crazy trying to get it working. ADT + needs an update so the Nest wired gen 2 doorbell is supported.

I hope the press releases hitting today are not right. If you bring in 1st Gen equipment into the ADT+ / Google Home ecosystem after you told everyone it was going EOL it will be one of the most blatanent forcing of customer purchases I can think of. We dumped our old equipment when you said it was EOL. Now it's coming back and we've long since threw it out and replaced it.

Lastly, your current system is absolute garbage. 4K down to 1080p (supposedly), the front door battery and Wired Gen 2 has a lesser radius, looks terrible. I can barely see anyone at the door. Your outdoor and indoor cameras are so awful. You went from the Outdoor Google Iq which looked beautiful, to this Gen 2 trash? More like you had some massive aloha stock from 2014 that you decided to release as your "new" products.
