I’m unable to lock or unlock my door. When I’m able to lock it the lock continuously runs trying to lock. I ended up ripping the batteries out so I can go to work. Anyone had this issue or can shed light on what to do?

thank you in advance.

Hi there,

Uh-oh! Have you tried to factory reset your Nest × Yale Lock? If not, factory reset your Nest × Yale Lock, remove it from the Nest app, and then add it back again.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Zoe

I tried factory reset multiple times. It finally started to tell me that the deadbolt is stuck but I'm able to manually turn the deadbolt and it works fine.

Hey PinkUnico,

Sorry for the late response. I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Since resetting the lock didn’t fix the issue, the best thing to do now is to contact Yale support for further assistance.

Feel free to reach out if you have other questions in the future.

Regards,

Zoe
