Nest x Yale button on lock doesn't work

When I'm trying to unlock my door from outside to enter my pin code, the YALE button doesn't work or sense that I'm pressing it. Any thoughts or solutions?

The batteries were just replaced. The keypad is clean but when i press the yale button it won't turn on. This is the first time I've had this issue. I unplugged the keypad from the lock for a few minutes and still nothing once it was reattached.
