Meross Smart Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Bonjour,

J'ai acquis l'appareil Smart Temperature and Humidity Sensor ,(acheté sur Amazon).

il peut être connecté à Alexa (Amazon) ou Google Home

Fonctionne avec l'application Meross ou Apple Homekit

L'appareil est correctement installé via l'application Meross, tout est normal et les informations indiquées (température et humidité sont correctes) - Jusque là tout fonctionne correctement.

Cependant, lorsque j'interroge Google Home (dans lequel j'ai configurer l'appareil Meross) il me répond : " Salon (ma pièce) est en mode AUTOMATIQUE.

Lorsque j'ouvre effectivement (clic sur vignette) l'appareil à travers l'application Google Home j'aperçois un cercle, dans lequel est inscrit "Auto"

Je n'arrive pas à sortir (et comprendre ce mode Automatique) de ce mode

Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ?

It sounds like your Meross sensor is connected properly but stuck in "Auto" mode within Google Home. This could be a sync issue between Meross and Google Home. Try these steps:

Re-link Meross in Google Home: Go to Google Home > Devices > tap your sensor > Settings (gear icon) > Unlink Meross, then re-add it.
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure your Meross app and device firmware are up to date.
Reboot Devices: Restart your router, phone, and the sensor.

Hello, the problème persists it's always in auto. The firmware of smarthub is up to date. I don't find update firmware for the sensor. The app is ok.

Le comportement que vous décrivez avec le Meross Smart Temperature and Humidity Sensor est assez courant lorsqu’un appareil est intégré dans Google Home via une passerelle tierce (ici l’application Meross).

Pourquoi “mode Automatique” apparaît dans Google Home ?

Google Home ne reconnaît pas directement tous les types d’appareils. Lorsqu’il s’agit d’un capteur de température/humidité, il est parfois “mappé” comme un thermostat.
Dans ce cas, Google Home lui attribue par défaut un mode AUTO, comme pour un thermostat connecté. Ce n’est pas un réglage réel du capteur, mais plutôt une interprétation de Google Home.
L’application Meross, elle, affiche bien les données exactes (température et humidité), car elle communique directement avec l’appareil.

Peut-on désactiver ce mode Auto ?

Actuellement, Google Home ne permet pas de “forcer” un capteur à ne pas avoir ce statut.
La seule façon d’éviter le mode AUTO est de passer par l’application Meross ou Apple HomeKit pour consulter les données.
Si vous utilisez Google Home uniquement pour l’affichage, vous pouvez ignorer cette mention “Auto” car elle ne modifie pas le fonctionnement réel du capteur.

Ce que vous pouvez essayer :

Dans Google Home, dissocier l’appareil Meross, puis le réassocier. Parfois cela change la manière dont il est reconnu.
Mettre à jour le firmware du capteur via l’app Meross.
Vérifier si Meross a publié une mise à jour de compatibilité avec Google Home (cela peut corriger ce type de problème).

Pour les images sur le forum

Oui, généralement il est possible d’envoyer une image, mais cela dépend des règles du forum. Cherchez une option “Joindre un fichier” ou “Téléverser une image” dans la zone de rédaction. Une capture d’écran de votre interface Google Home pourrait aider à confirmer que c’est bien un affichage par défaut.

Pour ceux qui aiment résoudre des énigmes et jouer avec les mots (en attendant que Google corrige ce genre de détails ), vous pouvez aussi jeter un œil à :

En résumé : ce mode AUTO n’affecte pas vos mesures, c’est juste un affichage par défaut de Google Home pour ce type d’appareil.

Hi Michel,

Thanks for your question. I understand that your Smart Temperature and Humidity Sensor works fine in the Meross app, but when you connect it to Google Home it only shows “Auto mode” and you can’t change it.

This happens because Google Home sometimes recognizes Meross devices with limited features. The Auto mode you see is a default display, but the real temperature and humidity data still come correctly from the Meross app. Unfortunately, Google Home does not always allow manual control for this type of sensor.

👉Tip: You can still create routines or automations in Google Home to use the sensor data (for example, turning on a fan if the temperature gets too high). That way, you don’t need to change “Auto mode” directly.

And yes, you can upload an image here if you want to show exactly what you see.

By the way, if you’re looking into automation tools, some people also use third-party solutions like Codex Executor for managing device controls and scripts, but for your case, sticking with Meross + Google Home routines should work best.

Sounds like a common Google Home sync issue—sometimes it misreads Meross sensors as having an ‘Auto’ mode even though they don’t. A quick unlink/relink of Meross usually fixes it.
