As an expert user of the Google ecosystem (Pixel Tablet, Pixel Watch, and Google Streamer), I am proposing a "Home OS" evolution to integrate these devices into a single, proactive system.

1. "Companion Hub" Mode & Media Continuity

* Utility Wallpapers (Pixel Tablet): When the Google Streamer is active, the docked Pixel Tablet should transition into a secondary dashboard. Users should have optional settings to display a live Google Calendar and Weather/AQI wallpaper, keeping essential data visible without interrupting the big-screen experience.

* Seamless Media Handoff: Implement proximity-based continuity where active media sessions can "follow" the user from the Pixel Tablet to the Google Streamer and back again upon docking/undocking.

2. Unified Security & Doorbell Response

* Universal Announcement: When a Nest Doorbell rings, every active screen—Google Streamer (TV), Pixel Tablet, and Pixel Watch—should simultaneously announce the visitor and provide an instant Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feed with management controls.

* Voice-Triggered Surveillance: The Streamer’s voice remote should support immediate requests such as, "Show the front door on the TV," regardless of what app is currently running.

3. Advanced Voice Assistant & Routine Integration

* Remote-Triggered Routines: The Google Streamer voice assistant should serve as a primary command center for all pre-set Google Home Routines. Users should be able to trigger actions like "Start the robot vacuum" or "Set house to Eco Mode" directly from the remote.

* Deep Nest Integration: Enable the Streamer voice assistant to manage all smart home states—adjusting Nest Thermostat temperatures or toggling device power (On/Off)—with visual feedback overlays on the TV.

4. Cross-Product Synergy

The Google Home mobile app should act as the persistent "bridge," ensuring that a routine started on a Pixel Watch is reflected in real-time on the Pixel Tablet’s Hub Mode and the Google Streamer’s Home Panel.
