Add virtual simulated Nest device to Nest Home

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to develop an app con control my Nest Thermostat from a WebApp.
I am following the tutorial Building a Device Access Web Application but as I don't have a Device in my Nest Home. After Signing In, I am getting the an error:

Can't find devices to link to [...]

If your home has multiple members, the person who first set up the home must migrate their Nest Account to a Google Account before you can link to [...]

As I don't have a real Thermostat, I would like to simulated one.
I found this Nest Home Simulator Chrome Extension, but I cannot sign it. I suppose this is because I have a Google Account and not a Nest Account.
Is there a way to simulate a Nest Device with a Google Account?

The feature that you are trying to use is associated with old Nest accounts & won't work well with the new Google accounts, espescially the accounts created after Google's merger with Nest.
