where do we find updates that are in progress for Nest cams on iOS Google Home app?

I am also looking for ability to automate and script Nest cams so I can trigger lights on, etc.

I am also looking for ability tonget listing of events by activity zone? perhaps similar ro Nest cam app. but anything would be helpful I have my 4 activity zones set uo but I cannot access events for each of them?

Is there any AI work underway for Google Home app for iOS? any additional scripting/automation in progress?

Hello @TBCuthbert ,

The updates for Nest Cameras happen automatically using the OTA (Over The Air) methodology. You as user need not do anything manually to trigger this update.

For automating Nest Cams to trigger lights you can try making use of the Automation Script Editor. More information about how to implement this and the various constructs being supported can be found here.

I am trying to access my 4 activity zones within automation and Automation script editor.
I cannot find a way to do this yet? with a tag or keyword or ...?
I need to be informed if someone is inside garage activity zone with one action and if they are coming to front door activity zone with another action ...
Can you provide assistance on this?

but see that is the problem the last update for my Home mini was back in 2023 . I have it set to automatically update

How do I activate lights from events in my 4 activity zones without a tag or keyword for my 4mNest cam activity zones? This seems like an extremely basic requirement. The cams have 4 activity zones so how do we access them?
