Niko home controle offline

Hey everyone .

For about a week or 2 niko home controle stopped working with google home . It says my lights are offline. When i go and look at connected services .i cant get niko home controle to show. When i look at the lights it says that its connected .tried resetting everything but no luck

Thanks for reaching out. Can you control the lights from Niko Home Control app? Also, have you tried to reconnect the Niko Home Control action in Google Home app?

Light work perfect in the niko app. The lights show status connected but niko app is not in my connected services.i tried removing and re adding the service . I get no errors when doiing but stil does not show up or work .

The fact that you get a "success" toast message but then the action appears unlinked and the devices are offline is critical. This indicates that the linking process itself is failing to persist, even though the initial authentication or setup step might seem to complete.

Targeted Troubleshooting (Follow these carefully):

Completely Clear Google Home App Data: This is more aggressive than just clearing the cache and often resolves persistent linking issues by forcing a fresh start for the app's local data.
- For Android:
  - Go to your phone's Settings.
  - Navigate to Apps (or Apps & notifications, Application Manager).
  - Find and tap on Google Home.
  - Tap on Storage & cache.
  - Tap Clear storage (or Clear data). Confirm if prompted.
  - Warning: This will sign you out of the Google Home app and reset any local app settings (like room order or speaker groups you configured within the app, not on your Google Home devices themselves). You'll need to re-log in and potentially re-enable some personal results.
- For iOS:
  - Unfortunately, iOS doesn't have a "Clear Data" option for apps. You'll need to uninstall the Google Home app completely from your device.
  - Restart your iPhone/iPad.
  - Reinstall the Google Home app from the App Store.
Verify Third-Party Account Status & Revoke Permissions:
- Log into the native app or website for the smart home device brand you're trying to link.
