We started a project with our customer to integrate NEST Thermostats in some of its plants.

We created a project on Device Access and tested our application in sandbox mode.

We then applied for the certification process to have no API limitation, and always communicating with the Google Team, we were asked to specify whether our application was an internal one or not.

Our application is for internal use since the customer uses the API to integrate its devices into a BMS system, and for this reason the support team asked us to move the Oauth application within the customer's Gcloud organisation and set it for internal use.

Following the commercial application of our app we were trying to use the app with a Cloud Identity account (#) from our client organisation with NEST Android app but we get an error saying ‘Can't use G Suite accounts with NEST’.

So we now find ourselves unable to log into the NEST application to associate the NEST thermostats we want to integrate via the project, for this point, we were asked to open an issue on your bug tracker:
https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/347223090?pli=1

After several exchanges with your engineers in the bug tracker, we ended up with the answer not to use a business account, and we are therefore at the starting point where we have a certified business account for our application but cannot use it on the NEST android app to associate devices.

To recap:

- With the personal Google account we have the application in Device Access Console in ‘Commercial Production’

- Our OAuth consent screen is set with internal use as per your instructions and cannot be used from the personal account because it is transferred to the Client organisation

- We cannot log in with the Cloud Identity account n the android app to associate NEST device

Email support no longer gives us an answer, so we are back to square one.
