Hi Mouse75,

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s do some troubleshooting steps.

Unplug the power cord from your Google Home Mini for a minute > Plug back in.

Open the Google Home app > Settings. Under Home features, tap Privacy > Home activity. This opens a list of all recent voice commands you’ve given.

Identify the most recent command that generated a failed response. Select Details > Tap the Play button (if there’s any). Check if the recording is clear, static, buzzing, or distorted.

Factory reset your Google Home Mini device and set it up.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Alex

In the past 2 months I've noticed it's been harder to get the device to respond. I find that I have to repeat myself 3-5 times and/or raise my voice. I live in a studio and the device sits in pretty much in the center of the space. For the past 3 years it's never been a problem.
