I've had Google Home speakers in the house for years. The kids will occasionally ask google questions, but largely they'll forget the speakers are there until they need to ask about the weather

Recently we decided to upgrade to a Google Nest Hub. Since it's appeared, they can't help but just hover around the screen until us parents just get fed up and have to unplug it.

There needs to be a way to disable the display of the speaker during certain times of day. Children just can't handle a touch screen in their face distracting them constantly. The wellbeing setting is helpful, but makes the entire Hub useless during portions of the day.

For a good analogy, imagine an iPad prominently displayed in the kitchen at Child height with no screen lock and you can see how ridiculous the lack of this feature is when there's kids around the house.
