topic Google Nest says it is connected to my bluetooth speaker but still keeps playing audio out of Nest in Speakers and Displays

There is a post with an identical name. Tried everything, but the issue still remains with my Nest Hub Gen2 and a Logitech BT speaker. I need to manually set the BT speaker as default time and time again (or use the voice command). Very annoying. Has anyone found a real fix in the meantime, rather than "Hey Google, reconnect Bluetooth"?

It worked fine for a number of months, but ever since I have set Spotify as the default music source (in favor of YouTube music), this issue started. Again, I tried all the recommendations given in the other thread. I'm getting a bit frustrated...

Hi 8tn,

I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. Could you tell us the steps you have taken so far? Also, if possible, could you try to connect to another Bluetooth device to isolate this?

I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Juni
