Hello AHSVGUY,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

I also appreciate all the efforts you've tried prior to posting. Could you please list down all the Google Nest Hub Max devices that are linked in your household and account? Also, kindly provide the cast firmware version of each so we can compare from one another each behavior.

Check the firmware version of your speaker or display

To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:

Open the Google Home app .

Tap and hold your device's tile.

Tap Settings Device information.

Under "Technical information," check for Cast firmware: "X.XXX.XXXXX." If the device is on Fuchsia, check for System firmware version: "X.XXXXXXXX.X.XXXXXXX".

Check the version on your Nest display

Swipe up from the bottom of the display screen.

Tap Settings About device. You should find your "Cast firmware version."

For Nest Hub (1st gen) and Nest Hub Max: If “Fuchsia Version” is also listed, this means your device runs Fuchsia.

Looking forward to your response.

Best,

Google Nest Hub Max display on home.nest.com is not stable but home.google.com is

I have a Google Nest Hub Max in my living room.

Issue:

Using https://home.nest.com/home/... in the initial display (collection of Nest devices), the live feed of my Google Next Hub Max in this collection is not stable (turns random colors, striping and jumbled then becomes stable for a few seconds thin jumbles). However, if I click the Google Nest Hub Max live feed in the collection, and it becomes the main display on the web page (live feed), it becomes stable.

Using https://home.google.com/, in the same browser, on the same laptop, the Google Nest Hub Max live display is always stable.

This issue has been going on since early 2023 as I recall. I cannot attribute the issue to an update.

I have rebooted everything including the WiFi router.

All systems are up to date and I am using the latest Google Chrome browser on my laptop.

Chrome is up to date

Version 119.0.6045.200 (Official Build) (64-bit)

My WiFi is:

Protocol: Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
Security type: WPA3-Personal
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Description: Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHz
Driver version: 22.250.1.2
Network band: 5 GHz
Network channel: 136
Link speed (Receive/Transmit): 961/1201 (Mbps)

Laptop information:

OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
Version 10.0.22635 Build 22635
Other OS Description Not Available
OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation
System Manufacturer Dell Inc.
System Model XPS 17 9720
System Type x64-based PC
Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H, 2300 Mhz, 14 Core(s), 20 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. 1.20.0, 9/19/2023
SMBIOS Version 3.4
Embedded Controller Version 255.255
BIOS Mode UEFI
BaseBoard Manufacturer Dell Inc.
BaseBoard Product 0RG82H
BaseBoard Version A00
Platform Role Mobile
Secure Boot State On
PCR7 Configuration Elevation Required to View
Windows Directory C:\WINDOWS
System Directory C:\WINDOWS\system32
Boot Device \Device\HarddiskVolume1
Locale United States
Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "10.0.22621.2706"
Time Zone Central Standard Time
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 64.0 GB
Total Physical Memory 63.7 GB
Available Physical Memory 42.6 GB
Total Virtual Memory 73.2 GB
Available Virtual Memory 51.4 GB
Page File Space 9.50 GB
Page File C:\pagefile.sys
Kernel DMA Protection On

Regards,

AHSVGUY
