Mini went off-line

I have two minis connected the third one went off line and will not return. I have unplugged, rebooted, factory reset, moved the nest mini closer to my router, restarted the router and still cannot connect to Wi-Fi. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi iuiu,

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s get this sorted out. Try to connect Google Home Mini to a temporary hotspot:

In order to complete the setup for your Google Home Mini with the use of a mobile hotspot, you need to have two setup devices.
- The first phone will behave as the router. Turn on its data and hotspot.
- The second device is the setup device. Connect it to the hotspot connection.
Factory reset your Google Home Mini once more.
Using the second setup device, open the Google Home app > Follow the set-up instructions > Choose the hotspot network on the “Connect to WiFi” page.

If Google Home Mini connects to the hotspot, proceed to the next steps:

While the second phone is connected to the hotspot, open the Google Home app > Devices > Tap on Google Home Mini > Settings > Device information > Wi-Fi > Forget Wi-Fi.
Connect the setup device back to your home WiFi > Do the setup steps again and try connecting Google Home Mini to your Wi-Fi.
