No music services available although I have a Youtube music subscription

I have a bunch of Google devices (Nest, Audio, mini, Google Tv) and connected ones (Jbl Bar) and a Youtube premium subscriptions. For some days I can’t play music anymore on those devices when asking Assistant to play. When checking the Google Home app in Settings-Audio there is no service availbale, although I have a Youtube subscriptions.

I’m logged in all systems with the samo account. And in case I start playing muisc in Youtube Music or YouTube Premium and then cast it it works. Just when asking Assistant to play, nothing happens as it seems the link was broken.

what can I do?

Apparently I’m the only one. After talking to multiple Google Advisor and no progress made (with device resets, uninstalls, restarts, new instalation…), I have found out something new.
As I can not add a music service in Google home but only choose between No provider and Youtube music, I decided to install Spotify and hope that will pop-up between the music services after restart. No new music service showed up in the Google home app, but now when choosing No music services provider and later asking Google Assistant to Play music on Google home devices it started playing Spotify music. I have a paid Youtube music subscription that doesn’t work on Google devices while a free Spotify does

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your concern. A few questions: which country are you contacting us from? Are they added to a speaker group? What message are you getting from your Google Nest speakers? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

I’m from Slovenia, Europe.

Yes I have more speakers groups and everything worked till it doesn’t anymore.

I have resetted all the devices, deleted and created new speakers groups, uninstalled and reinstalled Google home and Youtube music.

Thanks for the details you’ve shared. This feature is not supported in your area. For now, you can use the cast feature to enjoy your YouTube music on your Google Nest speakers. You want to say that after it worked for years, with the condition for the music to play on Nest devices to subscribe to Youtube music, now after all the devices bought (Google home, Google Audio, 2 Google Nest Display, 3 Google mini, Jbl bar which is compatible with Google Home, 2 Google chromecast and Google Tv 4k) and Youtube subscription, you blocked the usage?

Hi!

I have the same problem as andrejcc. I am also from Slovenia and I would like to set defatult music service to youtube music. I have youtube premium, but in google assistant settings I can only chose No default provider. There is no youtube music icon to chose.

As nothing really happened apart from numerous emails describing everything time and time again and asking me to do everything I have already done and described, those Google support are a real dissapointment and it seems their goal is just to exaust you. Good luck

Since you are from Slovenia... I will write in Slovenian. Jaz sem rešitev našel drugje. Nastavi si jezik v angleškega(US) na telefonu, in potem ti pokaže na izbiro Youtube Music, da ga vsaj lahko izbereš za default player. Nato sem jezik spremenil nazaj na SLO.

Angleški jezik imam default nastavljen, da je pri meni očitno nekaj drugega.
