Hi AlainElshout,

I understand you're concerned about the firmware on your two Nest Minis. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If the firmware versions differ between your devices, it's important to ensure both are updated successfully. Firmware updates typically take up to 10 minutes. If the update takes much longer, you can check the LED status to see if your speaker is still updating. While updating, the light will be white and slowly spin.

Reboot your Nest Mini: Unplug it from power for one minute, then plug it back in. This will restart the update process.

Factory reset (if update fails): If the update fails repeatedly, reset your Nest Mini to factory settings and set it up again. Preferably use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network if available.

Once both devices have completed the update process, you can follow these steps to verify their firmware versions: Check the firmware version of your speaker or display.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Angel

So my problem is twofold.

Firstly no option to select updates firmware automatically available in my "home"

Secondly both my nest minis are running different firmware and different cast firmware and neither are the current versions.

I run android V 14 with March 5th update

As long as your speakers are connected to Wi-Fi and the Internet, they should automatically update. You don't need to do anything and there is no feature or setting to update them manually.

You're welcome to try restarting or even factory resetting them if you'd like, there isn't much you can do other than that I'm afraid.
