Can't broadcast to individual devices

Hi, recently I haven't been able to broadcast to single speakers in my house (from any of them to any of them). When I try it replies "sorry, it looks like these isn't anything named kitchen speaker in your account, so I can't broadcast your message"

But if I just say "broadcast" then it will play the message on all six of the speakers around the house.

I live in the UK. Thanks for any help you can give.

Have exactly the same issue. Just been told by Google support that the ability to broadcast to individual speakers has been removed!

Thanks for all your posts and sorry to hear about this situation. Checking all the information about broadcasting, please take note that "Some broadcasting features aren't available in all languages and countries." So, unfortunately, this option might not be available in the UK.

It's started working again for me (just out of nowhere, not because of anything I did), so all good!

It's started working for me too. So either Google listened and reinstated it (unlikely) or the helpdesk was wrong and in fact it was available but needed to be fixed. Hey ho, it's working which is the main thing I suppose

here lies the problem with the support though. They said similar to me before, "Facial recognition is not available in the UK, sorry". And then it started working... so what hymn sheet are these guys singing from as it seems they dont know their own products.
