Nest Audio can't name song title currently playing from YT Music

When I ask "What song is this", the answer is "Your listening to" followed by silence. I connected my YT Music Premium and can wish for each song, but can't ask for the current title.

That's better than what I get. I get either "nothing is playing right now" or "I can't tell what's playing right now."

If you're having trouble with Google Assistant not being able to tell you the current song, it can be confusing. To determine the exact cause, I recommend trying the following:

Check if your Nest audio and Google home app are up to date.
Restart your Nest Audio by unplugging it for a minute and then plugging it back in.

I can also suggest rephrasing your question. Instead of saying "what song is this," try "What's playing now?" or "What's the current song?" Google Assistant might recognize a slightly different phrasing better.
