I can't set up Google assistant (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902.)

Hi,

my google home app wont let me go past set up google assistant page.

I choose 'next' and then I get "This operation couldn’t be completed (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902.)"

I've reset my GVA B&O Beosound 2 2nd generation speaker to factory settings (several times).

I've removed/deleted Google Home app several times also.

Ive turned my Wifi off/on several times...all the troubleshoot obvious things....modem powered off on...phone off on

etc.

Google home does not discover the speaker...but when I go to 'devices' its listed below.

I attempt to link from the devices page ...it takes me to the 'set up googlew assistant page' and then I get the above error: "This operation couldn’t be completed (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902.)"

Can anyone help?

You've done a lot of troubleshooting already, but here are a few additional steps that might help you resolve the error "kGSKErrorDomain error -83902" and set up Google Assistant on your B&O Beosound 2 speaker:

1. Check Google Home App Version:

Ensure you're using the latest version of the Google Home app. Outdated versions can sometimes cause compatibility issues. Update the app through the app store on your phone.

2. Verify Phone and Speaker Network Connection:

Make sure both your phone and the B&O Beosound 2 speaker are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. A weak or unstable connection can also cause setup issues.

3. Disable VPN or Proxy (if applicable):

If you're using a VPN or proxy service on your phone, try temporarily disabling it during the setup process. These services can sometimes interfere with device discovery.

4. Check Bluetooth Settings:

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. While the speaker connects to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth might be used during the initial setup process.

thanks for taking the time to respond.

FYI I have downloaded the Google Home app from the app store several times in order to reinstall...including after your response.

Unfortunately I still get the same error.

Both the B&O speaker and my phone WiFi are connected to the same network...however my speaker remains undiscoverable... despite listed in my google home app devices.

I do not have a VPN or proxy service on my phone so that cannot be a contributing factor in this case.

My bluetooth is enabled...I even disabled and enabled...as sometimes this may also help.

I also powered off and on the speaker after your response...just in case.

However nothing seems to help... and the google Home app still comes up with the same error.
