Google Nest Hub birthday reminders

In automations there's a function called "Tell Me About Upcoming Birthdays" and it doesn't seem to be working. I've imported all my contacts and I have a birthday on the 10th yet it doesn't seem to be telling me it. I though it was an issue of it was too far away but I made a birthday tomorrow (8/7) and today yet it still doesn't tell me. Does anyone know why this happens?

Set reminders on Nest Hub: When the birthday of a home member or one of their contacts gets close, a daily countdown will appear on your display. Follow these steps to Get birthday reminders on Nest Hub.
