Trying to connect google mini to apartment shared Wifi

I just moved to a new apartment that includes wifi. I have not been able to connect my mini because it says its not connecting to the wifi 😞 help!!

There are a few reasons why your speaker might not be connecting. One possibility is that your WiFi firewall settings are blocking the device. Let's try some steps to get you back online:

Connect your speaker to a temporary mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.
Perform a Factory Reset.

It definitely is because of the wifi, how do I fix that?

I already tried a factory reset and I don't want to have to pay for a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot because one of the reasons I moved into the new building is because included wifi 😞

Thanks for replying! I'd be more than happy to help you with that but my recommendation would be to contact your building's administration. They can help you to check your WiFi settings and try removing the firewall.
