Hi,

For a few days now I have noticed that the actual volume of my Google Nest Audio speakers is at 1% while the volume in the Google Home app is at 30% or another value I set. The volume can no longer be controlled with the slider.

The only thing that helps is to press the Resume - touch button on the speaker, which restores the link with the real volume. Or a restart of the speakers.

I have tried everything possible with the speakers to fix this:
- uninstall/reinstall the Google Home app
- disconnect from the power
- Restarting speakers
- back to factory settings and reconfigure
- restart my WiFi router

Nothing helps! The phenomenon occurs very randomly and the only thing I can think of is that a bug has slipped into the latest firmware (420420).

Does anyone have such an experience?

I'm right there with you. The first day I'm working in my home office and NEED my speakers working (wife works right above me and I can hear her on speakerphone all day --- ugh).

I have to unplug them, I have two of them paired, then it works for a few minutes, then I have no control over the volume of the music, only the Google Assistant voice. Doesn't this stuff go through UAT?? Please fix this Google.
