Google Nest Audio popping

I recently “upgraded” from the original Google speaker to the Nest Audio speakers. I played relaxing noise 24/7 until I switched to the Nest Audio speakers. The Nest Audio speakers are constantly playing loud pops. It does this when the speakers are in a group or separated.

I tried buying these a couple of years ago and had the exact same issue with the old ones. How is this problem not fixed?

It happens when playing the oscillating fan sound that google provides. It also tends to happen much more often if the speakers are used in stereo vs as individual speakers.

@williamnuine your best bet is to return for a refund if you can. The community specialists like @gmelanymelissa only know how to spew the tier one useless playbook and cannot help you. I’ve have a ticket open for three months, Google has shipped me two new pairs and all cause popping. Their support has no intent on trying to troubleshoot because they know the issue has existed for two years and done nothing about it.
