Random voice change to Nest Mini/Assistant

Asked Nest to set an alarm and it’s just replied in a random male voice that it has never used before - after asking it to set a couple of alarms it reverted to the voice I have it programmed with, but then immediately went back to the random one…

On looking at the options for voices I have, it’s only showing me “Red” and “Orange”, when I understand there are supposed to be a rainbow of colours attached to a variety of voices - so where has the rest of my rainbow options disappeared to, and how do I get them back - because the “Orange” bloke voice is not what I want to converse with, and neither do I want to talk with the frmale

The same thing happened to me. This morning the Orange voice is there (male, brutal). I had different male voice before, don't remember the colour, but now it's only Red and Orange. It's irritating, I don't want to listen to it!

I just fixed it!!! I got back the rainbow of voices. I adjusted the language on both device (phone) and Assistant settings to English US, and it works!

I JUST read this: Gemini-powered Google Assistant answering with new voice and I believe the same thing you describe happened to me as well. Weird voice, repeat query, original voice.

On Android US English I am seeing all the color voice options though.
