Hello everyone. Recently I accidentally broke my Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) and I got a crack on the glass (the MATRIX REMAINED WHOLE!). I found a glass for Google Nest Hub (1st Gen) on the Internet. And now the question arises (PLEASE, DO NOT WRITE THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO IT AT HOME):Are the glasses from the Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) and Google Nest Hub (1st Gen) screens compatible? And if I re-glue the screens, will everything function normally? Big Thank u!

Hi there!

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) got a crack on the glass. I'm happy to help!
While both the 1st and 2nd generation Nest Hubs use a 7-inch screen with the same resolution, screen replacement isn't recommended. The screen isn't designed to be replaced, and attempting to do so could lead to malfunctions or incompatibility.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,
Melany
