Hi,

I feel my Nest device is not really useful other than playing music or radio.
As I don’t use any smartphone features, it’s pretty much a radio for me.

Google Nest doesn’t understand simple questions like:

Hey Google,

What’s the wether?

Will it rain today?

I have to ask this very simple question in two separate questions.
considering the skills ChatGPT demonstrates, this is just wretched tbh.

If you're not even getting weather updates then something is wrong with your speakers.

A reboot or then a factory reset might be required.

Getting sensors to trigger announcements can introduce a security feature to your smart home. By adding smart cameras and Nest Hubs it's another level of feeling secure.

Yes, by just having a Nest Mini you're limiting yourself to basic functions, but by adding other devices your speaker's worth is increased.

Since you mentioned your speaker isn't even providing weather information, it sounds like something is wrong with the setup or the network.
