Googlecast Audio not connecting to speakers

I have a Beomaster 6000 and a type 2343 A/R. Googlecast Audio worked fine on both of them until about 3+ weeks ago. I now have a Sonos Port unit, and a Geek Technician hooked up the 6000 unit, BUT it only works via the Phone connection, which distorts at higher volumes. I would like to re-establish the Googlecast Audio connection. I've tried the same setup on the 2343 unit, but am not successful. Any advice/help would be most welcome please. Ive tried to re-boot the connection, to no avail! Is the fix rolled out, and what do I need to do to re-establish the connection please?

Could you please confirm that you have the latest version of the Google Home app?
When you try to add your Chromecast, are you receiving any error messages within the app?
How far is your Chromecast Audio from your Wi-Fi network?
