Radio France unavailable on Google products

Hello,

Since early February I can't listen to the radio station France Info on ANY of my Google devices (Nest Hub, Nest Mini, Xiaomi Mi Smart Clock).

That problem occurs every year, but it's never lasted that long before.

If I say 'Hey Google joue France Info', or 'Hey Google mets France Info'... the device answers 'Voici les dernières actualités nationales...'. Not what I need.

I've just now discovered that if I say 'Hey Google play France Info', it actually plays the radio station.

Why does it work in English but not in French? When are you going to fix the problem ?

Go to the service provider's website to see if it's available to listen to.

See if they still use frequency numbers instead of Radio France.

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that while Google Assistant works in English, it isn't able to play the radio station France when using French, and that you've been experiencing this inconvenience for a while. I'm happy to help you!

To know more about this inconvenience, i'd like to ask you a few questions:

Does this happen when you use different commands?
What troubleshooting have you done so far?
Does this happen on an exact date?

In the meantime, please follow these steps below:

Change Google Assistant's language
- On your mobile device, open the Google Home app .
- Tap Settings and then Google Assistant and then Manage all Assistant settings.
- Tap Languages and then Choose languages for speaking to your Assistant and then Select the current language set.
- Choose from the list of available languages.

Thanks for your suggestion. I visited the Radio France website.

Out of the seven radios part of the Radio France family, only France Info doesn't play on Nest devices.

The others do. It usually takes 10 to 15 seconds before they start.

France Info broadcasts in DAB+ and FM still, but not AM. Here are the

France Info hasn't been available on TuneIn for some time now.

Thanks for getting back to me and sorry I took some time to answer. Since my post, I've narrowed it down :

I can order the Nest Mini H2C either in French or English and I get France Info
Neither language works on Xiaomi Smart Clock or Nest Hub 007AG0189

Does this happen when you use different commands? It only happened with France Info, but now when I ask the reliable Nest Mini to play BBC Radio World Service, I get BBC Radio 1 Dance, and when I ask for BBC World Service, I get KALW. Same on other devices.
What troubleshooting have you done so far? I've only used the Nest Mini for that.
1. Can't seem to update the Nest Hub or Smart Clock, so I've unplugged them and plugged them on again. To no avail.
2. I've retrained Voice Match.
3. I've also reported the problem to Radio France : https://mediateur.radiofrance.com/incident-de-diffusion-numerique/
Does this happen on an exact date? It happens all the freaking time.
Change Google Assistant's language: done, so done !
1. I've changed the language to English US, but the device doesn't recognize my command for France Info, and as to BBC World Service, same answers as above.
2. Same with English UK .
3. I've tried French CAN, and France Info freaking works !
4. I've tried French BEL, and France Info freaking works !
5. I've tried French SWI, and France Info freaking works !
6. I've tried French FRA, and France Info freaking works !
7. I've then tried those 4 French accents on the Nest Hub : BIG FAIL !

Why is there a problem with the Nest Hub and the Xiaomi Smart Clock specifically ?

j'ai le même problème et pas de solution. Google help m'a dit que le pb venait de l'abandon de tunnels est que google n'y est pour rien; je suis d'accord que c'est la responsabilité de radio France mais ce n'est plus à cause de tunnels.😣

I'm using a Nest Hub 2nd generation. None of the radios from the Radio France app are playing. I tried restarting the Nest Hub and various ways of asking for the radios in French and English. The Radio France app seems to start, but the radios won't play. I live in the US, and I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the issue.

J'ai le même problème avec toutes les radios de Radio France, et j'ai réinitialisé le Nest Hub sans succès. Même résultat en changeant la langue par défaut.

I can confirm that I too can listen to Radio France stations on all my devices, including my petulant Nest Hub (1st Gen). FYI here are its characteristics :

When I say "Hey Google play BBC World Service" or "Hey Google mets BBC World Service", the result is "Streaming KALW from TuneIn". A radio station from the San Francisco Bay Area ?! https://tunein.com/radio/KALW-917-s31426/
When I say "Hey Google Play BBC News" or "Hey Google joue BBC News", the result is "Here's the latest news from BBC News Summary at 7:06pm today." The strange thing is, as opposed to France Info, BBC News/World Service is still available on TuneIn : https://tunein.com/radio/BBC-World-Service-s322318/
