Nest getting dumber, can't turn off lights in 2 minutes

Back in 2 or 3 months ago if I say

Turn off bedroom light in two minutes

This works, but now, the nest just do the action immediately, I get the impression that this happened at same time the old assistant is changed to Gemini in my phone, so this give the impression that the product is getting worse on purpose, to force me to buy a new model or something

Try..."Turn ON Light FOR 2 minutes"

This can also turn on the bulb if it's off.

Also, instead of saying "turn ON Light IN 2 minutes'...

"Turn OFF Light FOR 2 minutes" this one is difficult to remember.

No, it's not intuitive.

But if Google misunderstands you, you won't literally be left in the dark.

Alternatively you could say "IN 2 minutes Turn OFF lights"
