Nest Hub stops displaying clock

The Nest Hub does not stay on the clock, even though I've set it up to do so. I've followed these steps already :

Open the Google Home app on your Android device or iPhone.
Tap on your Nest Hub or Hub Max from the room it is assigned to.
Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner and navigate to Photo Frame > Full screen Clock.
You will be presented with 11 different clock faces along with their preview. Tap the clock face that you like, and it will be applied to your Nest Hub.

I just want it to display the time if I'm not interacting with it. It shows whatever I ask it to do, like turn on the light, and that's displayed, instead of going back to the clock.

Thank you for your post. I understand your concern of wanting to see the time displayed while having your lights on.

Unfortunately, the command (in this case, light) will always be displayed first over the time, that is just how the Google Nest Hub was programmed to do. The command gets priority because you are using the device, while the time is just a screensaver that shows up when your device is idling and not in use.
