Try these steps:

Nest Hub (1st gen)

Plug in the device to a different power source then reboot the device (unplug the power cord, leave it unplugged for 1 minute, then plug the power cord back in).

If the issue persists, put the device in recovery mode with these steps:

Unplug the power cord.

Hold down the volume buttons and plug in the power cord at the same time.

Wait for the device to turn on.

Release the volume buttons.

Once the device is in recovery mode, on the back of the device, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds.

Nest Hub (2nd gen)

Try plugging in the device to a different power source.

Attempt a factory data reset. On the back of the device, press and hold both volume buttons together for 10 seconds.

Nest Hub Max

Try plugging in the device to a different power source.

Attempt a factory data reset. On the back of the device, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds.

If the issue persists, put the device in recovery mode with these steps:

Unplug the power cord.

Hold down the volume buttons and plug in the power cord at the same time.

Wait for the device to turn on.

Hello

I have 2 google nest home devices in my home. Both have been operating fine but one recently just went to a black screen with white vertical lines on each side and a weird green blob in the middle of the screen.

I’ve tried to reboot it by holding down the volume button. I can’t reboot as the screen isn’t working to give me a QR code and I can’t see the code.
I’ve tried unplugging and plugging it back in - numerous times.

I’ve tried it with the power cord of the nest still working fine. The screen isn’t still the same.

I’ve tried different power points the screen is still black.

nothing gives me a visual on the screen
