Nest Mini 2nd Gen needs Activation

I have bought a Nest Mini 2nd generation and it's not setting up, saying it needs activation on Device Utility App.

When I try to install Device Utility App, it's not available on my Google Pixel 9 Pro.

So it really sucks for me right now, having all my devices from google and making my life hard.

I'm having the same issue and I only have a pixel phone..I'm very concerned with logging in and accessing Google home from someone else phone because wouldn't that.mwannthey now have my days too? Why wasn't this disclosed before buying the speaker? Is here no other way to set it up without using someone else phone? I don't understand, I have a pixel phone it's literally your product.

Also having this issue. So frustrating to have a Google phone, and not be able to manage a Google device. I'm waiting to see if someone else figures this problem out so I don't have to use a friends phone to set up the device.
