Hello boldleigh,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum. I’m sorry to hear your Nest Audio has stopped having continuous conversation with you when you request alarms. No worries; it’s a pleasure to assist you.

To continue addressing the situation, please perform a reboot. To learn how, refer to this article: Reboot Google Nest or Google Home speaker or display. Once you have completed this step and notice that the issue persists, let's move on to performing a factory reset, following the instructions in this outlined article: Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Continued Conversation

I just got a new Nest Audio to replace my old Google Mini (1st gen). In the mornings, I set 5-minute alarms for all of my meetings. I have continued conversations on. So it goes something like this:

Me: Hey Google, set an alarm for 10:55.

Nest: Alright. Your alarm set for 10:55 AM.

[ •••]

Me: Set an alarm for 11:55.

Nest: Alright. Your alarm set for 11:55 AM.

[ •••]

Me: Set an alarm for 12:55.

Nest: Alright. Your alarm set for 12:55 PM.

...etc.

For reasons I cannot understand, just yesterday, my Nest Audio stopped doing continuous conversation with alarms. Now I have to say "Hey Google" each time to set an alarm. So, now, it's this:

Me: Hey Google, set an alarm for 10:55.

Nest: Alright. Your alarm set for 10:55 AM.

Me: Hey Google, set an alarm for 11:55.

Nest: Alright. Your alarm set for 11:55 AM.

...etc.

A relevant data point: continued conversation still works. If I make any other request, continued conversation is there, waiting for my next response. When I set an alarm, though, it stops listening.

Help!
